I was just wondering what you guys thought about this video.

For me being a "Christian" makes this movie much more hysterical.  My main curiosity stems from the fact that it's been getting mixed reviews on Youtube.  Apparently some people find it really offensive.

I don't find it offensive nor do I find it funny. As far as I can tell, the comedy is entirely reliant on the shock factor rather than cleverness, a good punch line, or comedic effort. I am not a big fan of shock comedy.

He meant hysterical, not historical.

I watched the video until I was offended--the line "I died for you."  That's the moment when God turned away from his son.  I don't want that moment of loneliness to be taken jokingly.

The other jokes that I saw (skipping on water, water to wine joke) I liked.  Not super witty, or original, but they brought funny imagery to my mind.

I didn't think it was either offensive or funny.  Just...weird.

I wasn't supper offended by this video, but it did make me think about a couple of things.

First off, there is a big difference between loving Jesus and being in love with Jesus.

Second, who Jesus is and what He did for us is an awesome and sacred thing. He shouldn't be portrayed like a horny high school boy.

But I think Matthew is right...this video was just put on the internet to for shock factor and to tick-off Christians.

I don't find this video shocking at all.  I find it really clever.
